Happy Easter!!
Pandina and I were very busy today, searching for chocolate Easter eggs and bunnies in the neighbourhood.

My cousin Pandina came to visit today. We spend the day outside in the garden, enjoyed the lovely spring weather, the amazing sunshine.

I’ve just realised I’ve reached the end of my trip.
Now it’s back to Europe, away from this beautiful African sunshine, the amazing landscape and vast empty spaces. But I’ll return.

I caught a ride around the Cape Peninsula.
And I discovered that Cape Town is definitely the most beautiful place on earth.
Definitely the place I’d want to live in. I just have to get them to grow bamboo along the coast here somewhere, because the local vegetation is just not edible.

I carefully hid my fortune and then decided to head south, into Botswana. First I visited Chobe National Park.
I saw lots of zebra there. And then further south I went all the way south, until I reached Cape Town.
I made a new friend there. We look alike, don’t we?
Cats are funny animals though, they don’t like bamboo only eat some repugnant brown stuff that humans serve them out of cans.
In Cape Town I went to the beach and build a sand castle, rather a sand mountain.

Time to get dry again. Here I am soaking up a few sun rays on the Victoria Falls Bridge.
I thought about trying bungee jumping, but when I heard that an Australian women fell 24m into the crocodile infested Zambezi river after her bungee cord snapped, I decided against it and went back to Livingstone instead. And that is were fortune struck. I became rich! One moment I was just a poor Panda the next a trillionaire!
I celebrated the moment, drank one of those yucky bitter brews that humans seem to be crazy about.

Yes .. there it is “Mosi-oa-Tunya”, masses of water tumbling down the cliff.
It makes even a big Panda bear such as me seem small.
Do I look drenched? Yes I’m drenched! Misty water spray all around and lots of it

It got a bit crowded at Ruacana though, lots of humans arriving to spoil the tranquillity of the place.

it was then I decided to cross over into Angola. I guess it was what you might call an illegal border crossing. But then no one has ever asked to see my passport.
I headed east, far east, many many many kilometres east, to the “Mosi-oa-Tunya”, “Smoke that Thunders”. The “Smoke that Thunders” is claimed to be the biggest sheet of falling water in the world and I just had to go and see it.

Just sitting around is not for me for though. Not for any longer period of time. Climbed some trees in the vicinity.
And later that day, walking along the banks of the Kunene, I found, you are not going to believe this, I actually found bamboo. Lots of yummy juicy bamboo. Needless to say I really pigged out. Spend the rest of the day munching bamboo.
Then on to Ruacana Falls I went. Lovely!
